Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 3 September 2026

Welcome to UpiLinks, operated by CodeIXE AI Solutions, a proprietorship based in Mangalore, Karnataka, India.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”, or “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of upilinks.in, blog.upilinks.in, and the services, features, webpages, tools, links, QR-code generators, invoice generators, payment-request tools, and related functionality made available through them (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing, visiting, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. About UpiLinks

UpiLinks is a technology service that allows users to create and manage certain UPI-related digital content, including:

  • UPI payment links.
  • UPI QR codes.
  • Payment-request links.
  • Invoices and payment-related documents.
  • Other related digital tools and functionality.

UpiLinks does not itself process, authorize, settle, hold, receive, transfer, or custody funds in connection with a UPI transaction.

UpiLinks primarily generates digital information, links, QR codes, and related content based on information supplied by the user.

The actual payment transaction, if any, takes place through the relevant UPI application, bank, payment service provider, or other participant in the applicable payment ecosystem.

2. No Payment Processing by UpiLinks

UPILINKS IS NOT A BANK, PAYMENT GATEWAY, PAYMENT AGGREGATOR, PAYMENT SYSTEM OPERATOR, PSP BANK, UPI APPLICATION, OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.

UpiLinks does not:

  • Hold customer funds.
  • Receive customer funds.
  • Transfer customer funds.
  • Settle transactions.
  • Authorize transactions.
  • Approve or reject transactions.
  • Control a user’s bank account.
  • Control a user’s UPI application.
  • Control the UPI transaction network.
  • Guarantee completion of any transaction.
  • Guarantee that a payment recipient will receive money.
  • Provide banking services.

When a user follows a UpiLinks payment link or scans a generated QR code, the user may be redirected to or invoke a compatible UPI application or payment interface.

The subsequent transaction is outside the control of UpiLinks.

3. No Affiliation With NPCI

UpiLinks is independently operated by CodeIXE AI Solutions and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, authorized by, or otherwise associated with the National Payments Corporation of India (“NPCI”), except where a specific written arrangement or authorization expressly states otherwise.

The terms UPI, Unified Payments Interface, and other related marks, names, logos, or intellectual property may belong to their respective owners.

Nothing on UpiLinks should be interpreted as representing that UpiLinks is an NPCI-operated or NPCI-authorized website or application.

UPI is an infrastructure and payment system operated within the Indian banking and payment ecosystem.

4. No Banking or Financial Advice

The Service is a technology tool and does not provide:

  • Banking services.
  • Financial services.
  • Investment advice.
  • Payment advice.
  • Financial planning.
  • Tax advice.
  • Legal advice.
  • Fraud investigation services.
  • Banking dispute resolution.

Nothing on UpiLinks should be considered professional financial, legal, tax, investment, or banking advice.

You are responsible for obtaining professional advice where appropriate.

5. User-Provided Information

To generate links, QR codes, invoices, payment requests, or other content, you may provide information such as:

  • Name.
  • UPI ID.
  • Payment amount.
  • Payment description.
  • Invoice information.
  • Payment-request information.
  • URLs.
  • Email address.
  • Other information required by the relevant feature.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is:

  • Accurate.
  • Complete.
  • Current.
  • Lawful.
  • Authorized for use.
  • Not misleading.

UpiLinks generally generates content based on the information supplied by you.

We do not independently verify the ownership, identity, authenticity, legitimacy, or accuracy of every UPI ID, recipient, merchant, person, business, invoice, payment request, or other information entered by a user.

6. Critical Payment Safety Warning

VERIFY BEFORE YOU PAY

Before making any payment through a UpiLinks-generated link or QR code, you must independently verify:

  1. Who sent the link.
  2. Who will receive the payment.
  3. The displayed recipient name.
  4. The UPI ID.
  5. The payment amount.
  6. The purpose of the payment.
  7. That you trust the recipient.
  8. That the payment request is genuine.

Do not make a payment merely because someone sent you a UpiLinks link or QR code.

If you do not know or trust the person or business requesting payment, do not make the payment.

A payment link or QR code does not prove that the person requesting payment is legitimate.

You should carefully verify the recipient and transaction details before authorizing a payment.

NPCI similarly advises users to be vigilant regarding fake payment links, QR codes, online scams, and deceptive requests.

7. UpiLinks Is Not Responsible for the Underlying Transaction

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UpiLinks and CodeIXE AI Solutions shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, claim, liability, cost, expense, or consequence arising from or relating to an underlying payment transaction initiated using a UpiLinks-generated link or QR code.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Fraudulent payments.
  • Unauthorized payments.
  • Payments made to the wrong person.
  • Payments made to the wrong UPI ID.
  • Incorrect UPI IDs entered by users.
  • Incorrect payment amounts.
  • Duplicate payments.
  • Failed transactions.
  • Pending transactions.
  • Reversed transactions.
  • Delayed transactions.
  • Bank-side errors.
  • UPI application errors.
  • PSP errors.
  • Beneficiary-bank issues.
  • Payer-bank issues.
  • Recipient disputes.
  • Merchant disputes.
  • Goods or services not delivered by a recipient.
  • Refund disputes.
  • Charge or payment disputes.
  • Scams.
  • Phishing.
  • Social engineering.
  • Misrepresentation by a person sharing a payment link.
  • Misuse of a QR code.
  • Misuse of a payment request.
  • Loss resulting from relying on information supplied by another user.

UpiLinks does not control the actual transfer of money.

Accordingly, disputes concerning an actual UPI transaction should generally be addressed to the relevant UPI application, bank, payment service provider, or other applicable financial institution.

NPCI’s complaint guidance similarly directs users regarding fraudulent, unidentified, or unauthorized transactions to raise the matter with their respective bank for redressal.

8. No Guarantee of Payment

UpiLinks does not guarantee that any payment initiated through a generated link or QR code will:

  • Be successfully initiated.
  • Be authorized.
  • Be processed.
  • Be completed.
  • Reach the intended recipient.
  • Be credited to the intended account.
  • Be completed within any particular period.

Transaction processing depends on external systems and participants, including banks, UPI applications, PSPs, network infrastructure, telecommunications providers, and other third parties.

9. Incorrect Information

If you enter an incorrect:

  • UPI ID.
  • Amount.
  • Name.
  • Invoice detail.
  • Payment description.
  • Recipient detail.
  • Other transaction information,

the resulting link, QR code, invoice, or payment request may contain incorrect information.

You are responsible for reviewing all information before sharing or using generated content.

UpiLinks does not guarantee that information entered by users is correct.

10. Recipient Responsibility

A person or business receiving a UpiLinks-generated payment link is responsible for ensuring that:

  • The UPI ID belongs to them or is authorized for their use.
  • They are legally entitled to receive the payment.
  • The information provided is accurate.
  • The requested payment is legitimate.
  • Their use of the Service complies with applicable law.

You must not impersonate another person or business or create a payment request intended to deceive another person.

11. Payer Responsibility

A person making a payment through a UpiLinks-generated link or QR code is responsible for independently verifying the transaction.

You should never assume that UpiLinks has verified the recipient.

You should never provide your:

  • UPI PIN.
  • Banking password.
  • OTP.
  • Debit-card PIN.
  • Internet-banking credentials.
  • Account password.

to UpiLinks or to a person merely because they provided a UpiLinks link.

UpiLinks does not require your UPI PIN to generate a payment link or QR code.

12. UPI Application and Bank Responsibility

Once a user initiates a payment through a compatible UPI application or banking service, the applicable third-party terms and conditions may apply.

The relevant bank, UPI application, PSP, or financial institution is responsible for its own:

  • Authentication.
  • Transaction authorization.
  • Banking services.
  • Transaction processing.
  • Transaction records.
  • Payment confirmation.
  • Refund mechanisms.
  • Dispute mechanisms.
  • Fraud handling.

UpiLinks has no control over these third-party systems.

13. No Custody of Funds

UpiLinks does not hold, custody, pool, escrow, transmit, or settle user funds.

Money does not pass through a UpiLinks account or UpiLinks wallet merely because a UpiLinks payment link or QR code was generated.

The financial transaction occurs through the applicable UPI and banking infrastructure.

14. Generated Content

UpiLinks may generate:

  • Payment links.
  • QR codes.
  • Invoice pages.
  • Payment request pages.
  • Other digital content.

Generated content is produced based substantially on information submitted by the user.

UpiLinks does not guarantee that generated content is suitable for every purpose.

You should review generated content before sharing it.

15. Public and Shareable Links

A generated payment link or QR code may be shared with other people.

If you share a payment link publicly, information contained within or associated with that link may become accessible to people who receive or discover it.

You are responsible for considering what information you include in publicly shareable content.

Do not include unnecessary confidential or sensitive information.

16. Account Services

Certain features may allow you to create an account.

An account may allow you to manage eligible:

  • Payment links.
  • UPI IDs.
  • Invoices.
  • Payment requests.
  • Other generated content.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must immediately notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

17. Guest Users

Certain features may be available without registration.

Guest-generated content may not provide the same management capabilities available to registered users.

We recommend creating an account if you require ongoing access to and management of your generated content.

Where appropriate, guest users may contact:
